Cooperatives

EDG is always striving to be at the forefront in the development of innovative approaches to support and care of disabled people. We are pleased to announce our project to establish the first ever self-managing care co-operatives in Scotland. 

Carer Services

EDG, along with VOCAL, FAIR and The Action group are part of a new consortium working with carers called 

'Parent Carewell Partnership'. This is funded by City of Edinburgh Council to work with carers across Edinburgh.

Empathy

Alexander Warren of AJP Dreams has been working with support from EDG to research and develop empathy training for support workers. Alexander got funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation to carry out this work. You can check out his application video here.
