EDG received the excellent news that we will be continuing to be funded to support unpaid family carers.
On the 1st January 2021 we became part of a local partnership called the Parent Carewell Partnership (The Action Group (advice services) , EDG, FAIR and VOCAL).
This has become possible because along with new duties
there is additional funding for local authorities and EDG tendered for some of these monies in partnership. The Parent Carewell Partnership winning this tender has secured 5 years with potential further 3 years.
EDG will continue to offer parent / family carers support and advice as we have always done with the team member who knows you best. In addition, we will be in touch to offer an adult carers support plan.
